Refund Policy

1. The short version

  • Monthly subscribers — cancel any time. Your subscription continues until the end of the current paid month, then stops. We do not refund partial months.
  • Annual subscribers — full refund within 14 days of purchase or annual renewal, no questions asked. After 14 days, no pro-rata refund, but you can cancel auto-renewal at any time.
  • Australian Consumer Law — your statutory rights are in addition to, and override where inconsistent with, anything in this policy. If the Service fails to meet a consumer guarantee you may be entitled to a refund regardless of timing.

2. Who this applies to

This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscribers to aiwayorthehighway.com, which is operated by InnMotion (ABN 97 697 177 834) ("InnMotion", "we", "us", "our"). Refunds are administered by InnMotion as the contracting party. Refund processing is performed via Mirame Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 97 696 515 616, ACN 696 515 616), which acts as InnMotion's merchant of record and processes refunds back to your original payment method through its Stripe account. Refund credits will appear on your statement as a reversal of the original "MIRAME *AIWAY" charge.

3. Monthly subscriptions (A$1 / month)

  • You can cancel at any time from your account portal or by emailing hello@innmotion.com.au.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month. You retain access to paid features until then.
  • We do not refund the unused portion of a paid month.
  • You will not be charged again after cancellation.

4. Annual subscriptions (A$12 / year, or A$9 founding offer)

  • 14-day no-questions-asked refund. If you request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or your annual renewal, we will refund the full amount paid for that annual term, no questions asked. Access to paid features ends on refund.
  • After 14 days. No pro-rata refund is payable for the remainder of the annual term. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time so that you are not charged again.
  • Founding offer. The A$9 founding-year price is offered to the first 1,000 annual subscribers only. After the first year, the subscription renews at A$12 per year unless you cancel. You will receive a renewal reminder by email at least 7 days before the first renewal at the standard price.

5. Australian Consumer Law (your statutory rights)

You have rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) that cannot be excluded. These include guarantees that services will be:

  • Provided with due care and skill (s 60)
  • Reasonably fit for any disclosed purpose (s 61)
  • Provided within a reasonable time (s 62)

If the Service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or other remedy. These rights apply in addition to the refund timeframes above. Where there is any inconsistency between this policy and the Australian Consumer Law, the Australian Consumer Law prevails.

6. How to request a refund

Email hello@innmotion.com.au from the email address linked to your subscription, with:

  • Your subscription email
  • The Stripe invoice or order number (if available)
  • A short description of what you are asking for and why (you do not need to give a reason for a 14-day annual refund)

InnMotion will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and approve eligible refunds within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Mirame Australia Pty Ltd's Stripe account back to your original payment method and may take a further 3–10 business days to appear on your statement as a reversal of the original "MIRAME *AIWAY" charge.

7. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we will retry for up to 7 days. If payment still fails, your subscription will be suspended and you will lose access to paid features. You can resume by updating your payment method in the account portal. No refund is payable for any period during which payment was not successfully received.

8. Chargebacks

If a charge appears on your statement as "MIRAME *AIWAY" and you do not recognise it, that is your aiwayorthehighway.com subscription — Mirame Australia Pty Ltd is InnMotion's merchant of record (see the Terms of Service, Section 2A). Please contact us first at hello@innmotion.com.au. We can usually resolve issues faster than your bank can. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate termination of your account.
