1. Who We Are

aiwayorthehighway.com ("the Service", "we", "us", "our") is operated by InnMotion, an Australian business based in Melbourne, Victoria.

  • Operator: InnMotion
  • ABN: 97 697 177 834
  • ACN: 697 177 834
  • Registered office: Victoria, Australia
  • Privacy contact: hello@innmotion.com.au

InnMotion is the data controller for any personal information you provide through this Service. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles ("APPs").

Billing entity disclosure. Payments for paid subscriptions are processed by Mirame Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 97 696 515 616, ACN 696 515 616) acting as InnMotion's merchant of record. Your bank statement will show "MIRAME *AIWAY". Mirame Pty Ltd handles only the limited payment data Stripe relays to it for billing purposes; it is not the data controller for the Service. See Section 6 for details on how payment data is shared.

2. Plain-English Summary

This Service is a satirical AI Opinion Judge. You ask it a dilemma, it gives you an opinionated verdict. Here is the short version of what we do with your data:

  • If you use the free version, we collect almost nothing about you personally — just basic technical data and the dilemma you submit.
  • If you subscribe, we collect your email and a customer ID from our payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store your card details.
  • Your dilemma text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) in the United States to generate the verdict. We do not allow it to be used to train AI models.
  • We do not sell your data. Ever.
  • You can request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time.
  • You must be 18 or over to use Karen mode.

The full detail is below.

3. What Information We Collect

3.1 Free users

  • The dilemma text you submit to be judged
  • Mode selected (e.g. standard, Aussie Mate)
  • Technical/usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location (country/region only), pages visited, timestamps, referrer URL
  • Cookies and similar: session cookies, ad-related cookies (see Section 9)

3.2 Paid subscribers

In addition to the above:

  • Email address (used for account, receipts and service notices)
  • Stripe customer ID and subscription metadata (plan, status, renewal date)
  • Country of billing (for tax purposes)
  • Active confirmation that you are 18+ if you unlock Karen mode
  • Verdict history stored against your account so you can revisit prior verdicts

3.3 What we do NOT collect

  • We do not store your credit card, debit card, or bank details. All payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe.
  • We do not require you to provide a name, address, phone number, or date of birth.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Generate AI verdicts in response to your submissions
  • Provide, maintain and improve the Service
  • Operate paid subscriptions (billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds)
  • Show advertising on the free tier
  • Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents
  • Comply with our legal obligations (including tax, financial reporting, and law-enforcement requests)
  • Send you service-related emails (receipts, renewal notices, security alerts). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

5. AI Submissions and the No-Training Pledge

When you submit a dilemma, the text is sent to our AI provider Anthropic, PBC, in the United States, for the sole purpose of generating a verdict.

  • We use Anthropic's API under commercial terms that prohibit Anthropic from using your input or the resulting output to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve their AI models.
  • Anthropic retains API inputs and outputs only for a limited operational period for safety and abuse-monitoring purposes, after which they are deleted in accordance with Anthropic's published API data policy.
  • We do not use your dilemma text to train any model of our own.

Please do not submit information that identifies a real, named individual. You agree not to do so under our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We disclose limited personal information only to the following service providers, who act on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations:
